Schools,Academies,and Scholars in the Yuan Dynasty:A Study of Their Diverse Interactions Based on Book Collection Activities
As the main force in cultural and educational heritage,scholars,schools,and academies in the Yuan Dynasty exhibited a unique feature of diverse interactions in book collection due to the dual nature of the regime.In a relatively relaxed cultural environment,scholars played a central role in promoting the development of academies and schools,navigating interactions with book collections as a link,especially significant in the context of limited civil service examinations.On one hand,the relaxed environment of schools and academies in the Yuan Dynasty provided scholars with a free environment for book collection;on the other hand,the efforts of scholars continually enriched the collections of schools and academies.
