"Metaphor" in the Layout Terminology of Ancient Books
"Metaphor"is a rhetorical device,belonging to the category of linguistics.There exists a great deal of"metaphor"in the layout terminology of ancient Chinese books.The author has collected 114 terms in ancient books.These terms can be classified by its number,position,color,shape,function and other naming methods.Among them,examples of"metaphor"such as"fish tail","elephant trunk"and"type area"exist widely.Following the similarity principle of"metaphor",these terms are consistent with the traditional Chinese values such as"unity of nature and man",the concept of direction,the unity of"things"and"I",which are also a typical manifestation of the unique"metaphor"system of the Chinese nation.
