Abstract
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,Chinese documentaries have consistently aligned with the times,playing a crucial role as"chronicles of the era"and enhancing the dissemination of national culture.In the context of the new era,these documentaries utilize rich visual language to explore the origins of Chinese civilization,convey mainstream values,focus on the forefront of technology,strengthen national confidence,and improve communication effectiveness.By deeply integrating documentary and visual historical materials,they interpret the historical value of Chinese documentaries in the new era.
