Correlation between Trim21 protein expression of HCC and recurrence after laparoscopic radical operation
Objective:To observe the expression of tripartite motif 21(TRIM21)in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)and to analyze its influence on the recurrence after laparoscopic radical operation.Methods:138 patients with HCC were chosen, who underwent lapa-roscopic radical operation in a hospital from June 2020 to June 2022.Cancer tissues and paracancerous tissues of the patients were ob-tained during the operation.Comparison of TRIM21positive expression was conducted between cancer tissues and paracancerous tissues and cancer tissues of patients with different clinical pathological characteristics. After one year of follow-up,recurrence was observed;general data and TRIM21 positive expression rate were compared between the recurrence group and the non-recurrence group;influen-cing factors on recurrence after HCC laparoscopic radical operation was analyzed with COX regression model.Results:TRIM21 positive expression rate in cancer tissues was lower than that of paracancerous tissues.TRIM21 positive expression rate in HCC patients with TNM stage Ⅲ,tumor multiplicity,undifferentiation/poor differentiation and microvascular invasion was lower than those with TNM stage Ⅰ/Ⅱ,single tumor,moderate/good differentiation and non-microvascular invasion, the differences being statistically significant(P<0.05).Of the 138 patients,14 lost to follow-up,and 69 relapsed(55.65%).COX regression model indicated that Child-Pugh stage B,TNM stage Ⅲ,microvascular invasion and TRIM21 negative expression were influencing factors on recurrence after HCC lapa-roscopic radical operation(P<0.05).Conclusion:TRIM21 is lowly expressed in HCC tissues, which is closely correlated with TNM staging, number of tumors, degree of differentiation and microvascular invasion, and is the influencing factor of recurrence after HCC laparoscopic radical operation.
