A review of carbon emissions from urban energy consumption in China
Climate warming is one of the greatest challenges facing mankind today, and anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions, mainly carbon dioxide, are the main cause of global warming, while the growth of anthropogenic carbon dioxide emissions is attributed to the burning of energy to support human economic activities.Cities play an important role in the process of global carbon emissions. As an important part of China's carbon emissions, urban energy consumption carbon emissions are of great significance to the realization of China's dual-carbon goal.169 literatures from CNKI database from 2000 to 2022 as the data source were taken,CiteSpace and VOSviewer to draw the knowledge map of China's urban energy consumption carbon emissions were used, the research progress, hot spots and development trend of China's urban energy consumption carbon emissions were revealed. The results showed that the research institutions and authors of urban energy consumption carbon emissions in China were mainly concentrated in universities, and there was a lack of cooperation between research institutions and authors. The research focuses on the influencing factors of urban carbon emission, carbon emission accounting, regional spatiotemporal differences,low-carbon city construction, etc.Research frontiers were still mainly focused on cities, energy consumption and low carbon.
