Control of groundwater pollution characteristics by aquifer heterogeneity——Taking a valley type landfill as an example
Taking the process of groundwater pollution investigation and pollution risk control of a valley-type landfill with waste leakage as an example, the control effect of aquifer heterogeneity on groundwater pollution characteristics in a small-scale site with valley-type hydrogeological conditions was discussed. The results of hydrogeological exploration, precise source and plume control of groundwater pollution and efficient characterization of the strong runoff zone of the aquifer showed that the phenomenon of"non-Fick dispersion"was obvious in the heterogeneous aquifer in the valley area. The control of site aquifer heterogeneity was the key to the success and optimization of groundwater pollution control and remediation projects.Aquifer heterogeneous control could significantly improve the precision control effect of groundwater pollution, but also greatly reduce the control cost. This combined case could provide practical experience and technical reference for valley-type groundwater pollution risk control.
