Urban green development efficiency and environmental regulation in central H province of China
Taking 12 cities in H Province in central China from 2013 to 2022 as research objects, this paper studies the efficiency of urban green development and environmental regulation in H Province by using the spatial dynamic Durbin model. The spatial correlation test showed that the green development efficiency of 12 cities in H province had a significant local spatial agglomeration feature, and the phenomenon of low green development efficiency surrounded by low-level units and high green development efficiency surrounded by high-level units was more obvious.Moran's I showed that since 2019,the spatial agglomeration characteristics of green development efficiency of cities in H Province have been significant.According to the Moran scatter chart,it could be seen that most cities showed a trend of green development efficiency from"low-high"and"high-low"clustering to"high-high"and"low-low"clustering.According to the spatial spillover effect, improving the intensity of environmental regulations in the short term would effectively improve the green development efficiency of"economically adjacent"areas. At the same time, green development efficiency will increase with the increase of environmental regulation intensity in the long run, without significant direct or indirect effects.
