Review on greenhouse effect assessment caused by fuel consumption during the cruise phase of aircraft
Mitigating the greenhouse effect during the aircraft cruise phase is an effective way to realize the sustainable development of civil aviation and to cope with climate change. The driving factors of the greenhouse effect during the cruise phase were concluded, which could be divided into greenhouse gases(CO2,NOx,HC)and products(contrail),and the assessment models of the main greenhouse gas emissions and contrail generation were investigated. From radiative forcing, global warming potential, absolute global warming potential and environmental cost, the common evaluation indexes used to measure the greenhouse effect in cruise phase were summarized. The measures to mitigate the greenhouse effect during the cruise phase from the technical and operational aspects were presented. Finally, the development trends for future research were provided from the aspects of deepening greenhouse effect impact analysis, collaborative design operation scheme, and integration of TBO operation. It is expected to provide support for green aviation construction and sustainable development of aviation.
