Measurement and influencing factors of green eco-efficiency based on urban panel data
The measurement and influencing factors of green eco-efficiency in all cities in Shandong Province from 2015 to 2021 were analyzed, and the DEA-Malmquist model was used for dynamic evaluation, and it was determined that the standard deviation and coefficient of variation of green eco-efficiency in Shandong Province decreased, and the absolute and relative differences of urban green eco-efficiency gradually narrowed. The typical characteristics of green development in Shandong Province were robust, and green ecological efficiency was reflected in partial convergence.Technological progress was the main driving force in the continuous improvement of urban green ecological efficiency, and the dynamic growth of the highest green ecological efficiency could be reflected in the regions with the highest level of economic development. The panel estimation model could accurately define the relationship between city scale and green eco-efficiency Malmquist index as a U-shaped curve. The proportion of secondary industry and tertiary industry, the proportion of private and individual economy, the growth rate of regional GDP,the wage level of employees and Malmquist index are significantly positively correlated. The correlation between Malmquist index and the level of government expenditure on science and technology and the degree of financial development was low.
