Environmental management assessment of motor vehicles in Jiangsu Province from 2018 to 2020
Several pollution control measures have been adopted in Jiangsu Province in recent years as the NOxand VOCs pollution caused by continuous growth of motor vehicle ownerships.NOxand VOCs emission inventory of vehicles was developed for Jiangsu Province in 2020 based on vehicle population of different types,emission standards and fuel usage.The emission reduction of different vehicle pollution control measures in Jiangsu Province during 2018 and 2020 was analysed.The results showed that the elimination of old cars and the promotion and implementation of new energy vehicles in southern Jiangsu were better than those in central and northern Jiangsu.The establishment of vehicle emission inventory by region and measures and the assessment of environmental governance effectiveness of emission reduction measures could provide an effective way for traffic planning and pollution prevention and control.
