Ecological management zoning based on the intervention priority of the imbalance in the imbalance between supply and demand of ecosystem services——Taking Fuzhou central urban area as an example
The implementation of ecological management zones was an important prerequisite for implementing differentiated management and protection of urban ecological spaces.Accurately understanding the spatial characteristics and matching relationship of ecosystem service supply and demand, and effectively dividing intervention priorities are the key basis for accurate optimization and restoration.Taking Fuzhou central area as the research object, based on multi-source data, the InVEST model, the SCS-CN model, and the Coupling Coordination model were used to quantify the supply capacity and demand level of regional ecosystem services at the town and street scale. The matching relationship and coordination level of supply and demand were evaluated, ecological management zones were delineated, and targeted optimization and response strategies were proposed. The results showed that there was significant heterogeneity in the supply and demand of various ecosystem services in the central urban area of Fuzhou. The high-value supply area was mainly distributed in the semi-closed-loop mountain park zone outside the city center, while the high-value demand area was mainly concentrated in the core area,sub-center and peripheral cluster of the main city. There was a large disparity in the matching relationship between supply and demand for ecosystem services, with prominent mismatch phenomena. The dominant types were low supply-high demand and high supply-low demand. The average Coupling Coordination Index was 0.62,showing a barely coordinated state overall.Integrating the overlay of supply and demand matching relationship and coordination level can establish the spatial order for priority intervention.Four primary zones and thirteen secondary zones were identified.Taking into account the current conditions of the study area, the central urban area of Fuzhou was divided into seven categories:ecological barrier and conservation zone, ecological transfer and development zone, ecological economic restructuring zone, ecological development priority zone, ecological quality enhancement and construction zone, ecological connectivity construction zone, and ecological prevention and restoration zone.Targeted ecological management paths were also proposed to provide scientific references for ecological restoration practices and the construction of ecological civilization.
