Calculation method and emission characteristics analysis of greenhouse gas inventory at district and county level——A case study of Huairou district,Beijing
In the context of global climate change issues and the increasing focus on greenhouse gases, greenhouse gas emission accounting, also known as carbon accounting, has emerged as a vital tool for quantifying emissions of such gases.Taking Huairou District of Beijing as the research object, the characteristics of greenhouse gas emission inventory were deeply analyzed.Simultaneously, the main driving factors of carbon emission change in energy sector were discussed by using LMDI decomposition method, and the uncertainty analysis of inventory results was carried out.The results showed that in Huairou District of Beijing, energy activities and electric power emissions were the main components of emissions. From 2015 to 2019,total emissions experienced an annual average decrease of 6.38%,while carbon absorption demonstrated an annual average increase of 10.22%.Per capita carbon emissions, emissions per unit of land area, and emissions per unit of GDP all exhibited a declining trend. The primary causal factors behind carbon emissions from energy activities were identified as per unit GDP energy intensity and per capita GDP.The results of this study provided a scientific basis for the formulation of effective climate change strategies and policies in the region.
