Gas and electricity characteristics analysis of an electromagnetic launch elevating equilibrator
Based on the research background of a large-mass electromagnetic launch, the gas-electricity characteristics during the operation of the pitch system driven by the screw pneumatic elevating equili-brator were studied.A dynamic model of the launch system was established, and combined with the structure and layout characteristics of the elevating equilibrator, the theoretical analysis and experi-mental verification of the gas-electric parameters in elevating equilibrator during the dynamic opera-tion of the pitch system were carried out,and thus variation laws of the air pressure balance effect, system current, power under two different operating conditions were obtained. The comparative analy-sis of the theoretical calculation results and the test results show that the air pressure action of the screw pneumatic elevating equilibrator can reduce the overall gravity unbalance torque by 89.9%,and the system operating power can be reduced by a maximum of 75.4%under constant speed conditions, which is very beneficial to system power requirements and compact design. The theoretical calculation results of the elevating equilibrator are in good agreement with the experimental data, which may serve as reference for the design of large-mass gun aiming machines.
