Survey on Biodiversity in City Ecological Green Heart of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Metropolitan Region:A Case Study of Terrestrial Vascular Plants
Biodiversity is a key determinant of ecosystem health and is the lifeblood and foundation of the Earth's community of life.Based on the survey data of terrestrial vascular plant biodiversity in Greenheart area of of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Metropolitan Region, the 43 forest plots were divided into 6 planting types and 17 groups, the number of species of each vegetation type and formation was counted.Based on the importance value, the spatial structure and importance value of trees, shrubs and herbs were analyzed. The results showed that there were 80 tree species recorded in the forest quadrat;evergreen broad-leaved forest and evergreen coniferous forest were the two planting coverts with the largest proportion in the survey quadrangle.Pinus massoniana、Loropetalum chinense、Adinandra millettii、Cunninghamia lanceolata、Castanopsis sclerophylla and Cunninghamia lanceolata were the common samples, and the number, spatial structure and important value of tree species in different quadrat were significantly different. The spatial structure of different groups showed obvious difference:the tree height of the tree layer was between 3 and 20 m,among which the difference of tree height of the bamboo forest was small, and the difference of tree height of the evergreen broadleaf forest was large. The diameters of trees ranged from 3 to 40 cm,among which the diameters of trees in the deciduous broadleaf forest were the least different and those in the evergreen broadleaf forest were the most different.
