Phytoplankton Community Structure and Water Quality Response in Jixi National Wetland
In order to study the seasonal changes of phytoplankton in artificial urban wetlands and the influence of water quality factors on the structural changes of phytoplankton communities,a monthly phytoplankton and water quality survey was conducted on Jixi National Wetland from April 2020 to March 2021,and the structural change of phyplankton community was studied through canonical correspondence analysis(CCA).The response relationship between chemical and water quality factors, and the water intensity and water quality of the water body are evaluated by phytoplankton density and biodiversity index respectively. The results show that a total of 166 species(genera)of 8 phytoplankton have been found.Green algae and cyanobacteria have a dominant position in species composition and density composition. The number and density of phytoplankton species are higher in summer and autumn, significantly smaller in winter, and the number and density of ecological conservation area are the highest. The Shannon-Weaner Diversity Index(H')and the Pielou Uniformity Index(J')both reach the maximum in summer and the minimum in winter, with the highest in Science popularization and education area and the lowest in ecological restoration area. The results of CCA show that total phosphorus, water temperature, ammonia nitrogen, and conductivity have a significant impact on the structure of phytoplankton communities in Jixi National Wetland.Research shows significant spatiotemporal difference in the structure of phytoplankton communities in Jixi National Wetland. The water quality of Jixi National Wetland is in the state of mild algal bloom and is slightly polluted.
