The Humification of Municipal Sludge in Aerobic Fermentation Enhanced by Oyster Shell Powder and Wood Vinegar
In order to improve the fertilizer efficiency of traditional municipal sludge aerobic fermentation products, this paper uses municipal sludge as raw material, rice husk as auxiliary material,by added 15% oyster shell powder(OS group),2% wood vinegar solution(WV group),and combined 15% oyster shell powder+2% wood vinegar solution(OS-WV group),to explore the effects of oyster shell powder combined with wood vinegar on the humification process of municipal sludge aerobic fermentation and the fertilizer efficiency of the product. The results showed that the physicochemical properties of the OS-WV group could be optimized and the nitrogen and phosphorus nutrients increased. At the end of fermentation,TN,NH4+-N,NO3--N,TP and Olsen-P of the fermentation products in the OS-WV group reached 19.15,0.025,0.43,23.89 and 1.74 mg/g,which were significantly higher than those in other groups. In addition, the humification degree of OS-WV group is higher, and the conversion intensity of humin(HU)to humic acid(HA)and fulvic acid(FA)is greater.Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)analysis showed that the combination of oyster shell powder and wood vinegar promoted the degradation of polysaccharides in the pile, enhanced the aromatization degree, and strengthened the humification pathway.Three-dimensional fluorescence spectrum analysis showed that oyster shell powder and wood vinegar had synergistic effect in promoting the formation of humus(HS)components with high molecular weight and complex structure. Finally, after a 40-day potted experiment of Chinese cabbage,it was verified that the fermentation products of OS-WV group had the best growth promotion effect. In conclusion, under the present conditions, the application of oyster shell powder combined with wood vinegar to municipal sludge aerobic fermentation pile can promote the humification process of the pile and improve the fertilizer efficiency of the fermentation product.
