Spatial Network Structure of Carbon Emissions and Synergistic Emission Reduction Effect in the Yangtze River Delta
This study is based on a modified gravity model to construct a carbon emission spatial correlation network matrix in the Yangtze River Delta region.Social network analysis methods are used to examine the structural form of the carbon emis-sion spatial network, and to explore the characteristics of the carbon emission spatial correlation network from three dimen-sions:overall,individual,and spatial clustering. At the same time, the synergistic emission reduction effect is calculated and analyzed. The research results indicate that the spatial correlation network structure of carbon emissions in the Yangtze River Delta region tends to be complex and stable. The position and role of each node city in the carbon emission spatial correlation network have obvious non-equilibrium,with Suzhou,Wuxi,Changzhou, and Shanghai being the core nodes in the carbon emission spatial correlation network. The carbon emission spatial correlation network is divided into four sectors and there is a significant spillover effect between the sectors. There is significant room for improvement in the overall carbon reduction syn-ergy level, with significant differences in carbon reduction synergy between various cities and Shanghai.
