The Research Progress on the Source Apportionment Method of Volatile Organic Compounds in Ambient Air with the Receptor Model
Volatile Organic Compounds(VOCs)are important precursors of fine particulate matter and ozone,so it is neces-sary to perform the source apportionment of VOCs.In this study, the selection of key parameters in Positive Matrix Factoriza-tion(PMF)model analyses was summarized. The application of PMF model in the source apportionment of ambient VOCs,the sources characteristics of VOCs in different regions of China were reviewed. The research progress of VOCs source appor-tionment by combining other methods with PMF models was expounded. The results showed that the result error of VOCs sources apportionment with PMF model would be affected by the selection of key parameters, including VOCs species,uncer-tainty,species weight, factor number. There were different effects on the sources of ambient VOCs,due to the difference of region, season and human control factors.Vehicle-related emission sources were the main source of ambient VOCs in Beijing,Jinan,Wuhan,Yangtze River Delta region and southern cities of China, contributing 16.9%~75.4%.Based on the source contributions obtained by PMF model analysis,CPF,PSCF,CWT could be used to obtain the spatial distribution and transmission contribution of pollution sources, the photochemical loss estimation method of VOCs could reduce the analytical error of highly active VOCs,which would provide more accurate VOCs pollution source information for the management department. In the context that PMF model has been widely used in the source apportionment of ambient VOCs,it is of great significance to investigate the methods of quantifying the local generation and regional transmission contribution of VOCs and accurately estimating VOCs loss concentration.
