Hydrochemistry and Isotopic Characteristics of Guishui River Basin and Their Indicative Significance
In order to study the hydrochemical origin and relationship between river water and groundwater in the Guishui River Basin in Beijing,Piper three-line diagram,Gibbs diagram and multivariate statistical analysis, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and other methods were used to analyze the river water, shallow groundwater and deep groundwater samples collected in 2019 in the Basin. The results show that both river water and groundwater belong to weakly alkaline water;nitrate nitrogen is the main form of nitrogen in the water body;the dominant anion of river water, shallow groundwater, and deep groundwater is HCO3-,the dominant cation of river water and shallow groundwater is Ca2+,while the dominant cations of deep groundwater are Na+and Ca2+.The water quality is generally good, with Class I water accounting for over 70%.The characteristics of hydrogen and oxygen isotopes(δ D,δ18O and δ17O)in the basin water vary significantly in depth.Because the river water is subject to strong evaporation, the isotopes gradually become relatively depleted from the surface downwards.Rock weathering is the main source of solutes in water bodies in the basin, with evaporite rocks, carbonate rocks and silicate rocks playing a leading role.In addition, agricultural activities in the region are also an important factor affecting water solutes.
