Effects of 2,4-dichlorophenol on the Growth of Different Varieties of Garlic
In order to explore the effects of 2,4-dichlorophenol on the growth of garlic, five kinds of garlic with a wide planting range and common as research objects were studied. The growth rate of garlic, cell structure of rhizosphere and leaf, microbial community structure of rhizosphere and key enzyme activities were determined to evaluate the effects of 2,4-dichlorophenol on garlic. The average daily growth of garlic in Cangzhou,Cangshan,Qinghai,Henan and Sichuan formations is 0.86,0.80,0.16,0.28 and 0.33 cm.Under the action of 2,4-dichlorophenol,the cell structure of garlic did not change signif-icantly.The effect of 2,4-dichlorophenol on the activity of key enzymes in garlic cells showed that the content of MDA in Cangshan Group was the highest,14.3%higher than that in Henan Group. The highest SOD content in Henan Group was 12.7%higher than that in Qinghai Group. The POD enzyme activity of Cangzhou Group was the lowest, which was 16.7%lower than that of Qinghai Group.H2O2 concentration in the above-ground part of garlic from Qinghai Group(40.51 pg/mL)and in the underground part of Sichuan Group(38.88 pg/mL)was higher than that in other experimental groups.2,4-dichlorophe-nol had significant effects on the abundance index, evenness index and diversity index of garlic rhizosphere bacteria in 5 exper-imental groups.2,4-dichlorophenol had no significant effect on the cell structure of garlic, but increased the abundance of bacteria in the microbial community structure of soil samples. The damage degree of garlic in Cangzhou Group and Henan Group was low,and the garlic cells in Qinghai Group had a certain ability to resist damage.
