The Analysis of Kinetics Characteristics of Anammox:a Review
Anaerobic ammonia oxidation(anammox)is one of the most efficient techniques to dispose of sewage ammonia nitrogen and nitrite nitrogen within a reactor. However,in wastewater treatment, anammox bacteria are low growth rate and sensitivity to environmental factors that make the reaction conditions are variable and unstable. In this way,the study of the ki-netics and modeling can be a valuable tool to better understand and use deammonification technology more efficiently. In this paper, the inhibition, recovery and process kinetics models of anammox were reviewed, and the modified Boltzmann mod-el was widely used to describe the recovery performance of anammox after inhibition, and the kinetic processes of different anammox reactors was deeply discussed,it was considered that the Grau second-order model and modified Stover-Kincannon model were the most appropriate and shareable reactor-kinetic models for different anammox configurations. This review plays an important role in environmental factors regulation and the optimization design of anammox reactor.
