Characteristics and sensitivity analysis of ozone pollution in summer of Yinchuan
The characteristics and formation sensitivity of ozone(O3)pollution in summer of Yinchuan in July 2022 were analyzed to provide scientific strategies for local O3 pollution prevention and control. The results showed that there were 9 days of O3 exceeding the standard during observation period. The average value of daily maximum 8 h sliding mean O3 mass concentration increased by 32.6%compared with the non-exceeding day and the peak value of NO2 was nearly 20%higher than that of non-exceeding day.Meteorological characteristics such as enhanced solar radiation, high temperature and low humidity could easily lead to the risk of O3 exceeding the standard.Alkanes,OVOCs and halogenated hydrocarbons accounted for a relatively high proportion in VOCs,while the contribution of O3 formation potential(OFP)showed the tendency of alkanes>olefins>aromatic hydrocarbons>OVOCs>alkynes>halogenated hydrocarbons.Among them,m/p-xylene,2-methyl-1,3-butadiene and ethylene were the key VOCs species for O3 prevention and control.During the observation period, the air mass in Yinchuan was mainly in the medium aging state(94.3%),the main source of VOCs was motor vehicle exhaust, which accounted for the largest proportion of 33.3%,and the proportion of combustion sources and industrial emissions was similar, both of which were 21.4%;In July, the generation of O3 in Yinchuan was mainly controlled by VOCs.At present,VOCs emission reduction was the effective way to prevent and control O3 pollution in Yinchuan.
