Study on the characteristics and mechanism of enhanced nitrogen removal from aniline wastewater by sequencing batch biofilm reactor
A sequencing batch biofilm reactor(SBBR)was used to treat 600 mg/L aniline wastewater, and was compared with a sequencing batch reactor(SBR).Results showed that both SBBR and SBR could achieve 100%removal of aniline. But SBBR had better removal efficiency of TN.The nitrification process of SBBR was mainly heterotrophic nitrification, and there was also autotrophic nitrification existed. The denitrification was exogenous carbon source-anoxic denitrification.High-throughput sequencing results showed that the activated sludge and biofilm of SBBR was more tolerant for the growth and development of aniline degradation microorganisms and denitrification functional microorganisms, ensuring nitrogen removal from aniline wastewater.
