Research progress on removing effect of antibiotic resistance genes by adding earthworm compost to livestock and poultry manure and influencing factors
Antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)have received widespread attention as emerging pollutants.Livestock and poultry manure is an important source for ARGs in the environment, and vermicompost plays an important role in the rational use of livestock and poultry manure and the promotion of green agriculture. Therefore, studying the effect of ARGs by adding earthworm compost to livestock and poultry manure has becomethe current research hotspots. This paper introduces the transfer pathways of ARGs in livestock and poultry manure. The removal effect, influencing mechanism and influencing factors of ARGs are summarized in particular. And some innovative and forward-looking research directions are proposed for the technology promotion of harmless treatment and resource utilization of livestock and poultry manure and earthworm compost.
