Engineering application of pre-aeration-vertical subsurface flow constructed wetland in rural domestic sewage treatment
Due to the lack of dissolved oxygen in it,the traditional unpowered vertical subsurface flow constructed wetland has problems such as decrease of decontamination ability and the blockage of fillers. In this study, the pre-aeration of artificial aeration was used to design the pre-aeration-vertical subsurface flow constructed wetland mode. The combined process of anaerobic tank-micro-aeration biological contact tank-two-stage integrated vertical flow constructed wetland was used to construct the pilot and application demonstration of the rural domestic sewage treatment project in Bagong Town,Jincheng City. The effect of practical engineering application on the treatment of rural domestic sewage and the effect of pre-aeration on the integrated vertical flow constructed wetland were discussed. The results showed that, after 8 months of operation, the effluent TN,NH4+-N and COD values of the application demonstration could meet the design effluent quality requirements, the average removal rates were 88.3%,93.7%and 77.4%,respectively,and the process had strong impact resistance and not easily affected by low temperature in winter.TP removal in application demonstration was unstable, and the average removal rate was only 17%,while the average removal rate in pilot demonstration was 94.3%.Due to the pre-aeration,the average removal rates of TN,NH4+-N,TP and COD in the first-stage integrated vertical flow constructed wetland increased by 14.9%,6.8%,4.6%and 10.1%,respectively.
