The distribution characteristics and trends analysis about indoor air pollution risk factors of children during 2013-2017 in Tianjin
Objectives To explore the distribution characteristics and trends about indoor air pollution risk factors of children during 2013-2017 in Tianjin.Methods A indoor air pollution risk factors survey of 4 515 schoolchildren was conducted in Tianjin,and the children housing conditions,indoor air pollution risk factors,indoor air pollution protective factors were described and statistically calculated,the Joinpoint regression and chi-square trend analysis were used to explore the annual trends.Results 594,670,1 128,1 030,1 093 schoolchildren carried out the questionnaire survey in 2013-2017.The results showed incidence rate of pollution sources around children's houses and the distance between house and main line less than 20 meters were on a downtrend,the annual percent change(APC)were between-5.6%to-27%(P<0.05).The incidence rate of use solid-fuel to warm or cook and use household chemical were decreased,and kitchen ventilator and air purifier usage were increased.But it was noteworthy that,the incidence rate of children's houses area less than 80 square meter,housing renovation in recent 3 years,keeping pets were increased,the APC were 4.9%,11.9%and 9.8%,respectively.Conclusion The distribution trends about indoor air pollution risk factors of children during 2013-2017 in Tianjin were mostly on downtrend,but still a few were on uptrend.
