Analysis of testing results of ethanol disinfectants in Jiangxi province from 2015 to 2022
Objective To understand the hygienic quality status of ethanol disinfectants in Jiangxi Province.Methods Health and safety test and evaluation on ethanol disinfectants accepted by the Jiangxi Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention from 2015 to 2022 in Jiangxi province were conducted.Results A total of 168 ethanol disinfectants were tested,with an overall qualification rate of 95.2％.The overall qualification rate of ethanol disinfectants in Jiangxi province from 2015 to 2022 was between 83.3％and 100％.The qualification rates of different types of ethanol disinfectants range from 66.7％to 97.3％,among which the qualification rates of composite alcohol disinfectants with ethanol and n-propanol as bactericidal components and disinfectants with ethanol and other bactericidal components were 66.7％and 83.3％,respectively,which need to be paid attention to.The main unqualified items of single side disinfectants using ethanol as a bactericidal ingredient are low ethanol content,while composite or compound disinfectants mainly have excessive ethanol content.Methanol was detected in the accepted samples,with a detection rate of 60.7％.Conclusion In recent years,the overall hygienic quality of ethanol based disinfectants in Jiangxi province is acceptable,but there are still some products that are not up to standard and present certain health and safety risks.It is necessary to further increase the sampling of related products,strengthen hygienic quality supervision and management,and ensure the health and safety of consumers.
