Visualized analysis of Chinese researches on cardiovascular diseases and air pollution based on 556 Chinese papers
Objective To understand the research status, hot spots and development in the relationship between cardiovascular disease(CVD)and air pollution in China, and provide the references for the related researches in the future. Methods The relevant Chinese papers published in CNKI,Wanfang, and VIP databases were searched. After the related treatments such as elimination of duplication and irrelevant paper, supplementation of detailed missing information(publication time, author, keywords and institution, etc.),same institution, synonym recognition and substitution, and then the distribution of published papers and visualization analysis were conducted. Results 556 valid papers included, the volume showed a fluctuating upward trend, and the growth in the past ten years had expanded significantly. There was close cooperation within individual authors'team or institution, while the prolific authors and institutions distributed relatively fragmented and had less-cooperative relations. There were research hot spots in terms of pollutants, diseases, other outcomes or indexes, analyzing method, animal model, mechanism, etc. As for trends and frontiers, the intense focus of PM25 was likely to continue, while O3,temperature,health risks, were also likely to be included in the future directions and hot spots.Relevant research content has gradually become more concrete, detailed and comprehensive. Conclusion Based on the papers included in this study, researches on CVD and air pollution published in China are continue to be in the preliminary and rapidly developing stage, receiving constant attention. It is recommended to further strengthen diversified scientific research cooperation across institutions, author teams, regions and fields, pay continuous attention to the hot spots as well as development trends in this field, and promote further researches of CVD and air pollution.
