Role of RNA m6A modification in female reproductive system tumors and its influencing factors:a review of recent studies
N6-methyladenosine methylation(m6A)is one of the most common epigenetic post-transcriptional modifications of eukaryotic RNA.Under the joint action of RNA methyltransferases, demethylases and their binding proteins,m6A modifications dynamically and reversibly regulate the metabolic processes of mRNA,lncRNA and miRNA,which are closely related to the occurrence and development of female reproductive system tumors. In the present paper, the concept, function and regulatory mechanism of m6A RNA methylation modification in female reproductive system tumors and its association with exogenous environmental factors were reviewed in detail, for providing new ideas for the prevention and itervention m6A-targeted female reproductive system tumors.
