Therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medicine trauma techniques on shoulder training injuries in naval officers and soldiers
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medicine trauma techniques on shoulder injuries caused by military training in naval officers and soldiers. Methods Eighty naval officers and soldiers with shoulder pain caused by training injuries were divided into two groups, with 40 people in each group.Traditional Chinese medicine trauma techniques and traditional treatment were given in the treatment group and control group, respectively. The efficacy, visual analogue scale(VAS)score, and Constant-Murley score were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was significant higher than that of the control group(92.5%vs 77.5%,P<0.05).There were significant differences in VAS and Constant-Murley scores in both groups before and after treatment, and the VAS score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.001),while the Constant Murley score was higher than that of the control group(P<0.001).Conclusion The therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medicine trauma techniques on shoulder training injuries of naval officers and soldiers is superior to that of traditional manual treatment.
