Analysis of influencing factors of treatment compliance in patients with schizophrenia and its influence on quality of life and ability of life
Objective To explore the treatment compliance and quality of life and ability of life of patients with schizophrenics. Methods The data of 106 patients with schizophrenia who were admitted to the Fourth People's Hospital of Wuhu from May 2020 to May 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the score of Morisky 8-item medication adherence questionnaire(MMAS-8),the patients were divided into high compliance group(score≥6,n=62)and low compliance group(score<6,n=44).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to explore independent risk factors affecting patients'treatment compliance. The quality of life(generic quality of life inventory-74[GQOLI-74])and living ability(scale of social function of psychosis inpatients[SSFPI])of patients were compared between the two groups. Results The multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that living conditions, educational level, medication, social support, general self-efficacy,relapse,and doctor-patient relationship were the independent risk factors affecting the treatment compliance of schizophrenia patients. The scores of GQOLI-74 in physical function, psychological ability, social function and material life in the high compliance group were significantly higher than those in the low compliance group(P<0.05).The scores of SSFPI in daily living ability, activity and communication, social activity skills in the high compliance group were significantly higher than those in the low compliance group(P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment compliance of schizophrenic patients is affected by many factors. The patients with low treatment compliance have low quality of life and living ability. Therefore, targeted measures should be taken to improve the treatment compliance of patients, laying a foundation for their good prognosis.
