Peridynamics Study on Complex Interface Properties of Bi-Material
In order to study the mechanical properties of complex interfaces in bimaterials,the mechanical properties of three bimaterial interface models were investigated,linear,serrated,and city wall based on a series model of peridynamics,and the three bimaterial interface models was compared with using finite element method.The results indicate that the series model based on peridynamics is suitable for solving displacement and stress at complex interfaces of bimaterials.The stiffness and shape discontinuity of the bimaterial interface directly affect the displacement and stress of the bimaterial structure.The interface is affected by stiffness discontinuity,resulting in deformation and flat stress.The serrated and city wall interfaces are affected by stiffness and geometric discontinuities,resulting in overall wave like deformation and stress.
