Collision Risk Assessment of Airport Lateral Runway Based on Position Error Model
The collision risk assessment is carried out for the safe interval between aircraft approach and departure in the lateral runway related operation mode.In order to ensure the safe operation between air-craft,the lateral runway operation mode is analysed,the dynamic interval between aircraft on the two run-ways is calculated,and the position error collision risk model is established by considering the navigation error,speed error and other factors.Taking the lateral runway of Chengdu Tianfu Airport as an example,MATLAB software is used to simulate the collision risk between aircraft and further obtain the relationship between the collision risk value and the converging crossing angle of the lateral runway.The simulation results show that under the landing and take-off related operation mode,when the starting horizontal sep-aration distance of aircraft in the terminal area is 6 km and the lateral runway crossover angle is 90°,the total collision risk is 5.14 × 10-9,which meets the safety level requirement between aircrafts,and the col-lision risk of two aircrafts on the runway gradually decreases with the increase of the lateral runway con-vergence crossover angle.
