In order to further understand the thermal fracture problem of thermal barrier coating materials,the crack growth behavior under thermal shock load is studied.The transient thermal stress intensity fac-tors(TSIFs)are obtained using the transient interaction energy integral method(IEIM).The crack growth law is evaluated using a mixed way.Combining the criterion for crack propagation with the fracture toughness and the transient TSIFs that are already obtained,the crack growth law of the thermal shock crack for multiple interface thermal barrier coating materials is analyzed in this way.Further determine the important critical points for thermal shock crack propagation,such as the cracking time,final crack length,and crack stopping time of prefabricated cracks.Thus the significant critical parameters can be validated.This method presents a solution to the fundamental problem of simulating thermal shock crack propagation.
