Simulation Analysis of Whole Process of Compression after Impact of Composite Laminates
Aiming at the problem of separating the impact and compression processes in the numerical simulation of low-velocity impact of composite laminates,a numerical simulation method that integrates the impact and compression processes is established.Explicit and implicit analyses are used to simulate the impact and compression processes, respectively, and the damage data,stress-strain data and displace-ment data after the impact of the laminate are used as the initial inputs for the compression simulation in the next step, and the three-dimensional Hashin failure criterion is used to judge the initial damage of the composite material, and the stiffness of the damaged composite material is discounted to simulate the dam-age evolution. The established numerical simulation method is validated by using the test standard to es-tablish a finite element model, and the comparison between the calculation results and the test shows that:the failure mode is consistent, and the relative error of the residual strength meets the engineering require-ments.
