Simulation and Characteristic Analysis of Spinning Retraction of Oil Pump Plunger Assembly
A numerical method is presented to solve the spinning process of oil pump plunger assembly considering the effective evaluation index in this paper.The finite element model of a plunger assembly is established based on its model,and the validity of the modeling and simulation method is verified by com-paring the spinning force simulation results.Then,the spinning and closing process of the plunger assem-bly is simulated and analyzed,and the spinning force,pulling force and axial clearance are calculated re-spectively.The simulation results show that the stress is relatively concentrated on the contact part be-tween the slipper and the roller,and the circumferential stress distribution of the slipper is uniform,when the plunger contacts with the upper half of the spherical surface in the slipper,the spinning pressure be-gins to produce,and shows a trend of increasing first and then decreasing.The pull force also showed a trend of increasing first and then decreasing slowly with time.At the same time,it is clear that the axial clearance can be obtained by analyzing the axial pressure between the plunger and the slipper contact sur-face.
