Cross-sectional study on disaster nursing ability of emergency nurses in Jiangsu Province
Objective To investigate the status quo of emergency nurses'disaster nursing ability in Jiangsu Province and analyze its influencing factors.Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted among 182 emergency nurses from 53 tertiary hospitals in 13 cities of Jiangsu Province using general information questionnaire and disaster nursing ability assessment scale.Results The total score of disaster nursing ability of emergency nurses in Jiangsu Province was(211.57±34.90).The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that whether they had received disaster nursing training and whether current knowledge and skills could meet the needs of disaster relief were the influencing factors of disaster nursing ability of emergency nurses in Jiangsu Province(P＜0.01 or P＜0.05).Conclusion The disaster nurs-ing ability of emergency nurses in Jiangsu Province is above the medium level.Relevant departments should pay attention to the connotation construction of disaster nursing training for emergency nurses,attach importance to the construction of specialist nurse teachers and practice accumulation,and improve the disaster nursing training system by relying on the re-certification mechanism of specialist nurses.
