The reliability and validity test of the Chinese version of Nurse Intention to Take Deep Vein Thrombosis Preventive Measures
Objective To translate the Nurse Intention to Take Deep Vein Thrombosis Preventive Measures(NTDM)into Chinese and test its reliability and validity.Methods NTDM was developed in strict accordance with the Translation Integrity Procedure after the author's authorization,and 674 ICU nurse were included to test its reliability and validity by convenience sampling.Results The Chinese version of NTDM consisted of 15 items and 4 open-ended questions,and 4 common factors were extracted by exploratory factor analysis,the cumulative variance contribution rate was 82.66%.The results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the model fitted well with good model fitting in-dex.The criterion association validity showed that the correlation coefficient was 0.426,and the criterion association validity was ideal.The total Cronbach's α coefficient of the scale was 0.872,the split-half coefficient was 0.840,and the retest reliability was 0.843(P＜0.01).The aver-age content validity of the scale was 0.870,and the content validity index(CVI)of each item was 0.900～1.000.Conclusion The Chinese version of NTDM has good reliability and validity,and is suitable for evaluating the intention of ICU nurses to take preventive measures of deep vein thrombosis in China.
