Research on the index system of leadership training for head nurses based on transformational leadership theory
Objective To construct the training index system of head nurses'leadership ability based on the theory of transformational leadership,so as to provide training reference for improving the transformational leadership of head nurses.Methods Based on the theory of transformational leadership,combined with semi-structured interview results and document analysis,the first draft of transformational leadership training course for head nurses was drawn up.After two rounds of correspondence consultation with 16 nursing management and teaching management experts in Shandong Province,the index system of transformational leadership training for head nurses was formed after revision.Results The ef-fective recovery rates were 100%,the expert authority coefficients were 0.853 and 0.891,and the Kendall harmony coefficients were 0.135 and 0.364,respectively.The coefficients of variation for the articles in the second round of correspondence ranged from 0.000 to 0.156.The final train-ing index system consists of 4 first-level indicators,13 second-level indicators and 45 third-level indicators.Conclusion The index system of transformational leadership training for head nurses has a scientific,reliable,comprehensive content and clear training goal,which can meet the training needs of head nurses for transformational leadership and promote the development of transformational leadership.
