Meta-analysis of the application effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine exercises in patients with post-stroke cognitive impair-ment
Objective To systematically evaluate the intervention effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine on patients with post-stroke cognitive impairment.Methods The Cochrane Library,PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,Chinese Biomedical Literature Database,CNKI,Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform,and VIP Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database were searched by computer for ran-domized controlled trials of Traditional Chinese Medicine exercises on patients with post-stroke cognitive impairment.The search time was from the establishment of the database to December 31,2023.Meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.4 software.Results A total of 15 randomized controlled trials were included,including 918 subjects.The results of Meta-analysis showed that the Traditional Chinese Medicine exercises were superior to the control group in improving the cognitive function of patients with post-stroke cognitive impairment[SMD=0.86,95% CI(0.68,1.04),P<0.001],shortening the latency time of P300 detection[MD=-11.52,95% CI(-16.06,-6.98),P<0.001],and increasing the amplitude height of P300 detection[MD=1.06,95% CI(0.44,1.67),P<0.001].Conclusion Traditional Chi-nese Medicine exercises can effectively improve the cognitive function of post-stroke cognitive impairment patients.
