Application of group incentive management based on ADOPT model in patients with metabolic and bariatric surgery
Objective To explore the effect of group incentive management based on attitude-defination-openmind-planning-try it out(ADOPT)in metabolic and bariatric surgery(MBS)patients. Methods A total of 200 patients with MBS from January 2021 to Decem-ber 2022 were randomly divided into observation group(n=100)and control group(n=100).The control group were given conventional management and the control group received group incentive management based on ADOPT mode. Results The score of self-management and the rate of health management compliance in the observation group were higher than those of the control group after intervention(P<0.05).The levels of fasting blood glucose(FPG),2 h postprandial blood glucose(2 hPG),hemoglobinA1c(HbA1c),homeostatic model assess-ment of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR),triacylglycerol(TG),totalcholesterol(TC)and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)in the observation group were lower than those of the control group after intervention(P<0.05).The level of high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The body weight, waist circumference, hip circumference and body mass index in the observation group were higher than that of the control group, and the waist-leg ratio was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The score of satisfaction in the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Group incentive manage-ment program based on ADOPT model can improve the disease cognition and self-management level of patients with MBS,correct the disorder of glucose and lipid metabolism, optimize the weight loss effect, and the patient satisfaction is high.
