Study on unaccompanied medical willingness and influencing factors of patients with coronary heart disease
Objective To investigate the willingness of patients with coronary heart disease to seek medical treatment in unaccompa-nied mode and explore its influencing factors.Methods A total of 250 inpatients with coronary heart disease and their main caregivers were investigated by general data questionnaire,Chinese version of 36-Item Short Form Health Survey,and Caregiver Stress Index.Results A-mong 250 patients,124(49.60%)chosed unaccompanied mode for medical treatment.Logistic regression analysis showed that the influencing factors of the choice included patient gender,patient working status,primary caregiver age,patient body pain level,and primary caregiver physical and social status(P<0.01 or P<0.05).Conclusion Patients with coronary heart disease have a low willingness to seek medical treatment without an escort.It is suggested that hospital managers should consider the care needs of patients and main caregivers on the basis of accurately determining service objects,and provide personalized services to further enhance the willingness to seek medical treatment without an escort.
