Summary of the best evidence for respiratory exercise in patients with perioperative lung cancer
Objective To use evidence-based methods to integrate the best evidence of respiratory exercise in patients with periopera-tive lung cancer.Methods The relevant evidence of respiratory exercise in patients with perioperative lung cancer was systematically searched from both Chinese and English databases and guideline websites from the establishment of the database to November 8,2023.Two re-searchers evaluated the quality of the literatures that met the criteria,read them independently,extracted the evidence one by one,and sorted and summarized the evidence together according to the theme.Results A total of 21 articles were included,including 2 guidelines,3 expert consensus,11 systematic reviews,1 clinical decision,and 4 evidence summaries.Finally,25 best evidences were obtained from 8 aspects:eval-uation,multidisciplinary team,exercise principles,exercise methods,breathing exercise program,supervision and management,effect monito-ring,and precautions.Conclusion The study summarizes and integrates the best evidence of respiratory function exercise in patients with pe-ripheral lung cancer at home and abroad,which is beneficial to clinical nursing practice and can be popularized.
