The infertility couples'disease experience and coping:a Meta-synthesis of qualitative studies
Objective To systematically evaluate the disease experience and coping strategies of infertile couples.Methods PubMed,Embase,PsyclNFO,Web of Science,CBM,CNKI and Wanfang were searched by computer to collect the qualitative research on the disease experience and coping strategies of infertile couples.The quality evaluation of the literature was conducted according to JBI Evidence-Based Health Care Center Quality Evaluation Standards to integrate the results by Meta pooled integration approach.Results A total of 12 studies were selected,and 38 intact and clear research results were extracted,summarized and combined into 10 new categories,and integrated into 4 integrated results,including face challenges and shocks,multi-dimensional needs,positive and negative coping styles,posttraumatic growth.Conclusion The medical staff should pay attention to the disease experience and response of infertile couples,and take the initiative to give professional guidance and support to improve their quality of life and mental health level.
