Application of nursing intervention based on "knowledge-to-action" model in patients undergoing radical gastrectomy
Objective To explore the effect of nursing intervention program based on"knowledge-to-action" model in patients under-going radical gastrectomy.Methods A total of 300 patients who met the criteria for radical gastrectomy were randomly divided into control group and intervention group.The control group received routine nursing intervention after radical gastrectomy,and the intervention group im-plemented nursing intervention based on the"knowledge-to-action" model.The self-management ability,hope level and quality of life of pa-tients undergoing radical gastrectomy were compared between the two groups before and after intervention.Results After intervention,the scores of self-management ability,hope level and quality of life in the intervention group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion The nursing intervention program based on the "knowledge-to-action" model can improve the self-manage-ment ability,hope level,promote the recovery of patients after surgery and quality of life of patients undergoing radical gastrectomy,which can be popularized and applied clinically.
