Shared decision-making was a method of making treatment decisions based on the patient's personal values,preferences and goals with the participation of both the doctor and the patient,which was of great significance in improving the treatment motivation and com-pliance behavior of breast cancer patients as well as reducing the decision-making regret.The article described the application of shared deci-sion-making in breast cancer patients,analyzed the obstacles including patients,partners,medical staff and socio-cultural,and put forward suggestions for developing relevant concepts,aiming to improve the quality of shared decision-making in breast cancer patients and to reduce decision conflicts and decision regrets.
