Effectiveness of nursing intervention based on PERMA model in breast cancer patients:a Meta analysis
Objective To review and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing intervention based on PERMA model in breast cancer patients. Methods Electronic databases including CINAHL,PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,Medline,Scopus,Cochrane Library,PsycIn-fo,CBM,CNKI,Wanfang Data and VIP,were searched up to February 27,2024 for randomized controlled trials evaluating nursing intervention based on PERMA model.Data analysis was conducted using RevMan 5.4 software. Results Seven studies comprising 672 patients were included.Meta analysis showed that nursing intervention based on PERMA model significantly reduced anxiety[SMD=-2.58,95% CI(-3.37,-1.79),P<0.001],depression[SMD=-3.79,95% CI(-4.91,-2.66),P<0.001],fear of disease progression[MD=-5.70,95% CI(-6.85,-4.56),P<0.001].Additionally,it led to a reduction in fatigue[SMD=-8.16,95% CI(-15.34,-0.98),P=0.030],and an increase in happiness[SMD=1.63,95% CI(0.88,2.38),P<0.001]and psychological capital[MD=17.12,95% CI(12.12,22.13),P<0.001].Conclusion Nursing interventions based on the PREMA model are effective in alleviating negative emotional states and fatigue among breast cancer patients, while also promoting happiness and psychological capital. There is a need for further validation through large-sample,high-quality randomized controlled trials to confirm the effectiveness of the interventions.
