Effects of Combined Application of Arthrobacter and Decomposed Chicken Manure on Soil Characteristics Contaminated by Atrazine
To clarify the potential of using Arthrobacter sp strain MSD6 mixed with decomposed chicken manure for remediation of atrazine contaminated soil,Atrazine contaminated soil was simulated in laboratory.Five treatments with four repetitions each were applied on the experiment including CK1(control,no additional woodland soil),CK2(only added atrazine),T1(atrazine with 5×108 CFU·kg-1 of added strain MSD6),T2(atrazine with 50 g of added decomposed chicken manure),T3(atrazine with 5×108 CFU·kg-1 MSD6 of added strain and 50 g of decomposed chicken manure). The results indicated that the mixed application of strain MSD6 and decomposed chicken manure could significantly reduce soil atrazine content and had a good recovery effect on the reduction of soil microbial biomass carbon and soil enzyme activity caused by atrazine. After 40 d culture, the degradation rate of atrazine in T3 treatment was 92.8%and the soil microbial carbon content of T3 treatment was 206.8%higher than that of CK2.T3 treatment could better alleviate the inhibition of atrazine on enzyme activities of catalase, alkaline phosphatase, sucrase and urease. In conclusion, strain MSD6 mixed with decomposed chicken manure could effectively restore the biological characteristics of atrazine contaminated soil.
