Analysis of Mixed Silage Products of Alfalfa and Whole Plant Corn in Different Proportions
In order to study the effect of different proportion of Alfalfa and corn on the chemical composition of silage products, the experiment was designed with Alfalfa and corn as materials, and 11 treatment groups were set up:0:10,10:0,1:9,2:8,3:7,4:6,5:5,6:4,7:3,8:2,9:1.The silage products were mixed in proportion based on fresh weight and opened on the 60 th day of silage. The results showed that with the increase of Alfalfa proportion, the color of silage products changed from yellow to yellow green at 3:7.When 8:2 was used for mixed storage, the content of crude protein and crude fat was the highest, and the content of lactic acid was the third. When mixed storage was carried out at the ratio of 3:7,the mixed products were yellow green, fragrant and fruity, soft and moist without touching hands, and the lactic acid content was 5.16%which was the first of the mixed storage products. The silage with high acetic acid content and low pH value was good for preservation and low cost and medium crude protein level. Thus the silage product with good quality can be obtained by mixing with the ratio of 3:7.
