Impact Analysis of Fiber Winding Angles on the Axial Compressive Properties of Composite FRP Tubes
In the research and application of new composite material constraint concrete components under marine environment, the axi-al compressive properties of composite winding pipe cannot be ignored.Based on the above, the axial compression test of glass fiber composite pipe with fiber winding angles of 45°,60° and 80° is conducted, and the influence of three different fiber winding angles on the axial compressive properties is analyzed. The results show that the axial compressive properties of the FRP tubes can be accurately measured by adopting a simple test device. The axial compression elastic modulus of the GFRP tube was increased from 9.64 GPa to 13.07 GPa,and the Poisson ratio increased from 0.13 to 0.74 with the decrease of the fiber winding angles.
